Osmond Bromfield – CEO
Mr. Bromfield has been with the Credit for over 26 years and has served in several capacities including Vice President for three years, Treasurer for twenty years and was appointed his current post of Chief Executive Officer in 2012.His extensive training and experience in Management, Finance, Accounting, Industrial Relations, Legal Administration, Strategic Planning and Corporate Governance coupled with his strong analytical skills, and ability to make tough decisions has earned him the trust and respect of everyone that he comes into contact with on a daily basis.
He joined the Island Special Constabulary Force (ISCF) in 1977 and was the first member to move from the rank of Special Constable to that of Commandant from which he retired on October 7, 2012. He was the chief negotiator for the ISCF force association between 1988 to 1999 and held the position of chairman between 1991-1992 and from 1996-1999.
Mr. Bromfield was awarded with the Medal of honor for efficient service in ISCF in 1989, the medal of honor for meritorious service in the ISCF in 1997 and more recently the Order of Distinction (O.D) in October 2011 for distinguished service in the Island Special Constabulary Force. He is also a Justice of Peace for the parish of Kingston since January 2006.
His vision for the Credit is to see it achieve the goal of becoming the premier ‘one stop’ financial institution for all the members.
Tamara Maxwell-Green – Deputy CEO (Finance and Administration)
Mrs. Maxwell-Green joined the Public Sector Employees Co-operative Credit Union Limited in 2000 where she started as an Accounts Payables Clerk. With her aptitude and keen interest in accounts and finance she climbed the ranks to the position of Deputy Chief Executive Officer. She has seventeen years’ experience in the accounting profession.
She holds a BSc. in Business Administration from the University College of the Caribbean and a MBA from Florida International University.
Charles Tam – Deputy CEO (Credit and Compliance)
Mr. Tam has served in the Credit Union Sector for over a decade with both the Registrar of Co-operative and Friendly Societies and the Jamaica Co-operative Credit Union league in several capacities including but not limited to Business Development, Risk Management and Regulatory.
Charles’s knowledge and capabilities includes policy development, regulatory reporting, financial management, budgeting, accounting, credit administration and human resource management. He holds a M.B.A. in entrepreneurship and a B.B.A. in Finance.
